In front of an uproarious crowd at the Tamworth Hockey Centre, Farrer's open boys hockey outfit captured a third straight state title with a 3-0 win over Oxley High in the NSW Combined High Schools knockout final.
It was a fast-placed, entertaining game, but one that the favourites were always in control of.
Farrer's dominance was showcased via a brace to Archie Clarke, who captained the Australian under-16 team on a European tour earlier this year, and a 46th-minute strike to his NSW under-18 teammate Blake Scicluna that made it 2-0.
