BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The only South Korean worker that opted to stay in the United States following the raid of the Hyundai megasite is still in ICE detention, an immigration attorney has confirmed to WTOC.
475 people were detained in the ICE raid two weeks ago. Around 300 of those detained were South Korean nationals, here to perform proprietary work at the HL-GA Battery Company that couldn’t have been done by anyone else.
