Since 2017, when the Big Ten began playing two conference basketball games in early December amid non-conference season, Rutgers has been on the receiving end of some tough draws.

The Scarlet Knights open against the league’s two best teams – national title contenders Purdue at home Dec. 2 and Michigan on the road Dec. 6.
