A new opportunity at Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union promises to give parents and community members a chance to better the special education program.

The supervisory union, which includes Barstow and Otter Valley school districts, announced this month it would be launching a new Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) and is seeking members.
