But a comment from Donald, his other brother, intent on memorializing the life of Erik D’Haene, changed his mind, Ronny D’Haene said, about becoming director of photography for the project.
Donald D’Haene told him, he said, it wasn’t about chasing accolades, but making Erik’s story known.
“And when he said those words, it changed everything.”
