Fern Creek made a statement with a 35-14 victory over Eastern, shining in all three phases as the Tigers stretched their winning streak to two games and improved to 3-1.

“Our offense was looking pretty good. Defense looked phenomenal. Special teams looked pretty good,” said linebackers coach Justin Nichols. “We had a kickoff return called back for a touchdown because of a block in the back, but we were just firing on all cylinders.”

Quarterback Javis Wallace, easing back after tearing his ACL and meniscus, was sharp in limited action, throwing for 146 yards and three touchdowns in just two quarters.
