(NewsNation) — The man found dead at the Burning Man festival last month was allegedly killed with a kitchen knife, the Pershing County Sheriff's Office says.
Multiple outlets reported that department officials said they have a knife they believe was the murder weapon that was used to kill Vadim Kruglov. Police identified Kruglov, 37, using his fingerprints after asking the public for help in figuring out who he was.
"It appears the injury was caused by a single stab wound to the victim's neck," the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office says the suspect is still on the loose. Officials acknowledged they've collected hundreds of tips since the start of the investigation.
