ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Asheville Police Department reports it is searching for a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in 2024.

Officers said they were called to the Hillcrest apartment complex around 2:24 a.m. on July 26, 2024, and found 31-year-old Denzel McKnight. He passed away from his injuries at Mission Hospital.
