FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Dyllan Floyd just accomplished one of the toughest challenges in endurance sports, completing the 2025 Ironman World Championship in Nice, France.

For the last two years, Floyd has dedicated himself to a strict training routine that included swimming, biking, and running up to 20 hours a week. His commitment paid off last year when he earned a top five finish at an Ironman event in Maryland, which qualified him for the world stage.

“It’s super rigorous, it’s super hard and a lot of times you don’t want to do it,” Floyd said. “But once you finish, you’re like… when’s the next one?”

On race day in France, Floyd powered through an hour-long swim, a grueling five-hour bike ride through the Alps and capped it off with a three-hour run.
