Hyundai is moving forward with a planned $2.7 billion investment in its Bryan County, Georgia , megaplant, where a federal immigration raid occurred in early September.

The $7.5 billion Hyundai plant was originally allotted the boost in August as part of Hyundai’s announced $26 billion additional investment in the United States following a White House meeting between President Donald Trump and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung.
