SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- On the six-month anniversary of 60-year-old Darren Lewis's death, his wife sat in a Chatham County courtroom.

Kathy Lewis watched her husband's suspected killer, 42-year-old Kenneth Gordon, plead not guilty to all charges on Thursday.

Gordon is accused of fleeing from Savannah Police, driving down Liberty Parkway at a high speed, and crashing into Darren Lewis's car. That crash resulted in Darren's death.

Gordon is facing felony charges for homicide by vehicle, fleeing from police, hit and run resulting in a death and other misdemeanor charges.

Kathy spoke exclusively with WSAV following the arraignment, "I'm very appalled and very upset, because how do you plead not guilty when a life has been taken?"
