ROCHESTER — A Rose Creek, Minnesota, man who recorded what officials are calling a social media “rant” that prompted four school lockdowns has been located but is not in custody.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office was looking for Daniel Lewison, 55, on Thursday, Sept. 18, after Lewison posted a video of himself outside a Byron school naming around half a dozen people and saying, “I’m coming for you.”
Officials initially believed the video, posted Thursday morning, was a live video. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office contacted Byron Schools to advise them to go into a lockdown and sent a deputy to find Lewison, Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson said at a press conference Thursday.
