BATON ROUGE — Rivalries at times can bring out some heated moments.

Before last weekend's LSU football matchup with Florida, tempers escalated and flared in two separate instances when players from both teams needed to be separated.

During the first dustup, Florida associate head coach and running backs coach Jabbar Juluke was involved in an altercation with LSU freshman safety Joel Rogers and players swarmed. BUY LSU FOOTBALL TICKETS

The Southeastern Conference , in coordination with Florida, announced Tuesday that Juluke would serve a three-game suspension for his involvement.
