HARRISON COUNTY, Texas (KSLA) - The father of a woman who died Sept. 14 while in the custody of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is speaking out about his daughter’s untimely death at the age of 35.

Alicia Stubenrauch died Sunday, Sept. 14 after being found unresponsive in a holding cell at the Harrison County Jail. Her death came after a series of bizarre events that began Sept. 9 .

As a result of the events of Sept. 9, Alicia was charged with tampering with/fabricating evidence, according to jail records.

Albert Stubenrauch says his daughter was someone you could never forget once you’d met her. He also says she was a caring woman who couldn’t pass by a stray dog if she saw one.
