The high point of winery harvest festival season runs from this weekend through mid-October.

You can find producers in states from New Hampshire and Massachusetts down to North Carolina that will mark the end of the growing season with a one-day or weekend party that combines wine, food, music and activities such as grape stomping.

One of the biggest will take place this weekend in North Carolina’s Yadkin Valley, Raffaldini Vineyards will hold its 20th annual Festa Italiana . Food vendors, musicians, artists, and craftsmen from across the region will gather for this annual outdoor celebration of Italian food, art, music, and wine at one of the East Coast’s top producers.
