GLENDIVE — Former Dawson Community College men's basketball player Cam’ron Dunfee has joined Buccaneers men's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach the school announced in a Monday press release.
Originally from Castle Rock, Colorado, Dunfee played for the Bucs from 2018-2020.
Coach Joe Peterson earned his first conference and region championships during the 2019-2020 season in which Dawson went 27-7 and won their first Tip-off Tournament championship, Mon-Dak Conference championship and the Region XIII championship the DCC press release detailed. The Bucs went a perfect 14-0 in conference play and earned the right to host the region tournament. In the Region XIII Tournament championship game, Dunfee made a free throw with five seconds remaining to give the Bucs a 96-95 win.
