Social media posts about Charlie Kirk's assassination have caused job losses in the state, highlighting the ongoing debate over free speech.
At Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell, officials confirmed that a campus security guard is no longer employed due to "a negative social media post" made about Kirk.
"This individual is no longer with our campus, and I want to assure you that the safety and security of our students, faculty, and staff is our top priority," UNMU-Roswell President Shawn Powell said.
