For 25 years Bindi Mwerre Anthurre Artists has been helping people with a disability to communicate through creativity.
At Bindi's Gallery in Alice Springs, paintings, etchings and ceramics are on display for the biggest showcase of the year, Bindi Magic.
About a dozen artists, most of whom are Aboriginal, are involved.
"Several of the artists are non-verbal, so I think it is very important for them to be able to communicate through artwork," Bindi worker Ruth McMillan said.
Bindi Enterprises was founded in the 1970s to help people living with a disability develop skills.
Operations manager Leisl Rockchild said children were sent to Adelaide to get education and training before the organisation was established.
