Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist during President Donald Trump 's first term and architect of the "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement, told Politico that the right should "go to war" following Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Newsweek has reached out to Bannon via text message for comment on Thursday.
