Signal Mountain has appointed Chris Register as its new Public Works Supervisor.

Register brings more than 15 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, with a background in managing projects, building teams, and prioritizing safety and efficiency. Originally from Pensacola, Fla., he spent the past 27 years in Houston, Texas, before relocating with his family to Signal Mountain.

Register and his wife of 13 years are raising four children. He said he looks forward to partnering with residents, enhancing infrastructure, and helping keep Signal Mountain a safe and thriving place to live.

Town officials said they are excited to welcome Register and the experience and dedication he brings to the role.
