A total of 4540 ewes and 1240 lambs were offered with local and repeat buyers supporting the market and resulting in the sale average lifting $103 a head on last year's sale.

It wasn't only the average that resulted in a large lift on last year's sale but also the top price reaching $415.

The top-priced pen of 210 Austral Eden-blood, April/May-drop Merino ewes, was offered by Jack and Leah Jo
