BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A convicted felon was sentenced Thursday for illegally possessing a machinegun and firearm, says the United States Department of Justice.
According to a plea agreement, authorities say 26-year-old Kelvontae Rashad Wallace , of Pell City, illegally possessed a firearm and machinegun on two separate occasions.
On Dec. 15, 2023, officials say Talladega Police were called to a person shot at a gas station . When officers arrived to the location, they found a victim lying on the ground that had been shot in the stomach, back, and both legs.
