MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- An officer and a pedestrian were injured after a man led by multiple law enforcement agencies crashed into two patrol cars on Thursday in Alamo, Tenn., according to the Crockett County Sheriff's Office.

The CCSO said they reported a suspect who fled the scene on West Church Street in Alamo, Tenn., from multiple law enforcement agencies.

The sheriff's office said a deputy saw a female pedestrian on West Church Street and stopped to help her.

Another deputy near the scene saw a man driving a Dodge Dakota fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.

Deputies said they intercepted the driver near the National Guard Armory in Alamo, but the suspect, identified as Wesley Barrett, refused to stop.
