LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A murder suspect led authorities on a lengthy high-speed chase through South Los Angeles amid rush-hour traffic Thursday afternoon.

The suspect in a black Toyota Corolla Hatchback was zipping through busy side streets before hopping on the south 110 Freeway.

Details about the alleged murder were not immediately available.

At one point, he dodged traffic by driving at high-speeds on the freeway's shoulder.

He then exited the freeway through an entrance, driving the wrong-way and hitting a truck. That caused major damage to the car's bumper, but it did not deter him from taking off again.
