LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Giving nurses real-world experience is important, but it can be challenging. One local hospital group recently unveiled a new state-of-the-art simulation and training center — the first of its kind in the valley.
Meet Curt Labb. He talks, coughs, and sneezes — but he isn't human. He's a high-fidelity patient simulator — one of several mannequins at Sunrise Health System hospitals helping prepare new nurses for the real world.
