SIMPSON, Pa. — One day, after three police officers were killed and two were seriously injured in a shooting in York County, one restaurant in Lackawanna County decided to show their support for those officers by helping out our local cops.

"I woke up in the morning, on social media, I saw some officers were shot, couple in critical condition. I work out with some officers at the gym, and I just know what they go through,” said Frank Cerminaro, the owner of Frank's Place.

That's why Cerminaro decided to give free meals to any current or former police officers who came to his restaurant in Simpson.

"I just want to give back a little and maybe feed a couple of people; they put their life on the line all the time, they see this stuff too often, I guess.”
