The Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) recently confirmed that reviews for Personal Independence Payment ( PIP ) awards are currently taking an average of 38 weeks to complete. New DWP data reveals that 150,000 award reviews were finalised between May and the end of July, however, priority is being given to new claims to ensure people receive support as swiftly as possible.
