San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys and San Bernardino County Mountains were placed under a report for strong thunderstorms by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 5:31 p.m. The alert is in effect until 6 p.m.

Brace for marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 50 mph.

“At 5:31 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm over Highland, or near Redlands, moving north at 25 mph,” says the NWS San Diego CA . “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.”
