LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – When it comes to your physical health, heart attacks and heart failure are life threatening situations.

It's something that Tiffani McGee experienced firsthand.

"I did have a doctor's appointment that I went to, and my blood pressure was high," McGee said.

Despite the doctors' request for McGee to be admitted in May she chose to go home, and by August 17th she experienced her first heart attack.

"My body was telling me I just wasn't listening to the signs you know paying attention," McGee said.

Her husband Terry McGee says the tool saved her life.

It's the reason that the former patients standing in the room Thursday night are still alive, many of them like Tiffani were filled with gratitude and a new outlook on life.
