ROCK VALLEY, Iowa (KTIV) - It’s another step forward in efforts to recover from last summer’s flood for a northwest Iowa school district.

Northwest Iowa Congressman Randy Feenstra says he’s secured $1.8 million dollars in funding from FEMA for the Rock Valley Community School District.

“After a substantive meeting with city officials from Rock Valley and FEMA, I’m glad to announce that we secured $1.8 million for Rock Valley Community School District for ongoing flood recovery efforts. I’m continually impressed by the resilience of our neighbors in Rock Valley and their commitment to rebuilding stronger than before,” said Rep.
