NISKAYUNA — Voters in Niskayuna got their first chance to hear directly from candidates vying for town supervisor Thursday as part of a debate hosted by The Daily Gazette.
Democrat incumbent Erin Cassady-Dorion, who was appointed supervisor last year following the resignation of Jaime Pucconi, squared off against Republican John Rickert during a more than 60-minute debate, where candidates touched on everything from rising utility costs, infrastructure concerns to bringing civility to town politics.
