Cowboys Nation is all about Brandon Aubrey this week.

The kicker from Plano nailed two clutch field goals in Sunday’s win over the Giants, including a 64-yarder that sent the game into overtime.

That ties for the third-longest field goal in NFL history.

It turns out, a high school student in Frisco beat Aubrey to it by a couple of days.

“He’s really inspirational,” said Jack Drygas, kicker for Legacy Christian Academy in Frisco.

On Friday night, Drygas faced an opportunity few ever do in high school: attempt a field goal longer than 60 yards.

Head coach Doug Hix had the punt team on the field to kick the ball away when he says Drygas came to him with his hands pressed together.
