President Donald Trump called for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to be impeached from Congress after an unsuccessful censure resolution failed to punish her for comments she made about Charlie Kirk .

Trump also disparaged the congresswoman in later comments, suggesting she was “scum,” and claimed she married her brother to gain citizenship.

“I think she should be impeached. I think she’s terrible,” Trump said Thursday aboard Air Force One. He acknowledged he was impeached twice, and later added, “She should be impeached, and it should happen fast.”
