COLUMBIA, S.C. — The family of Angela Fuller is speaking out after Columbia Police announced new details in her murder investigation . Fuller’s boyfriend, Anthony Reese, is now charged in her death.

Police confirmed that 55-year-old Reese is charged with murder and other crimes connected to Fuller’s death. Her family said they are heartbroken and frustrated.

“We believe Ms. Fuller was killed between the time she was last seen August 29 and reported missing on August 31,” Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook said.

Investigators said blood found in Fuller’s vehicle was confirmed to be hers through DNA testing. They also said a firearm recovered from Reese after a police chase has been identified as the murder weapon. Because of a previous felony conviction, Reese cannot legally own a gun
