PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. — The Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD) has a bus driver shortage, and it has been causing some real problems.

“We've been having issues since November of last year,” Kimberly Hull, a mother of four in the PCSSD, said.

Hull explained how it has only gotten worse this year.

“Kids just flat out not being picked up, kids being left at the school for hours after school before they are able to get a ride home,” she added. “And the only explanation is, ‘We're sorry- we have a shortage of drivers. Thank you for your understanding.”

For some parents like Jeffrey Rosser or Michelle Wyers, it’s hard to understand.
