LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - WKYT is tracking a large police presence in Lexington.

Our crew is on the scene of Winburn Drive and McCullough Drive where officers have been taking guns and bags of unknown items from the house.

It’s in the same area where a man was seriously hurt in a shooting on Thursday morning . It is unconfirmed if the shooting is connected.

The Lexington Police Department, Kentucky Homeland Security and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The Lexington Fire Department also confirmed that they were assisting police on the scene.

We have reached out to police but have not yet heard back.
