LAWRENCE — Through the early weeks of Trey Lathan’s first season with Kansas football, he’s made quite the impression.
Lathan, who transferred in during the offseason from West Virginia, leads KU in tackles and is among its lead contributors in tackles for loss. Despite having to learn a new system, the redshirt junior linebacker has acclimated well and started all three of the Jayhawks’ games so far. Especially considering the injury issues his position group has faced so far this fall, his productivity and reliability have been key.
