WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police have arrested a suspect and identified the victim in a deadly hit-and-run that happened Wednesday night in midtown, but a local group that promotes biking and advocates for bikers says this happens far too often in the city.
For years now, Bike Walk Wichita has tried to be a safe haven for bikers -- a place where they can learn to repair their bikes and bond with other bikers. Executive Director Holly Terrill says she loved biking long before she started working there.
