MARYVILLE, Tenn — The New Hope Children's Advocacy Center celebrated a big milestone on Thursday afternoon. In just about four years, the center has paid off its new facility thanks to donors such as Blount County-based Clayton Homes, Blackberry Farm and the estate of long-time Blount County philanthropist William Ed Harmon.

That means more resources can go directly towards better supporting children and families in Blount County. It's something Celina Sikes knows from years ago. She received therapy services from New Hope when she was around eight years old.

Now Sikes is a child and family advocate and forensic interviewer. She said she's proud to serve the community the same way New Hope served her.
