TAYLORS, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- He’s not superhuman, but he does have super skills. Lance Footer often gets lost in his work.

“It’s kind of like an escape,” Footer told Queen City News.

“You see what I’ve done in this little amount of time,” he said, drawing feverishly. “This is Red Sonja, done in my style.”

His pieces come in all sizes, from comic book covers for independent publishers to his original art.

He also creates collectible trading cards.

“I did these for Marvel,” he said, showing us a Black Panther card he did for Marvel Comics. “They all get signed on the back.”

“This is a top-secret Dynamite project,” he explained as he scrawled on a card at the kitchen table where he does most of his work.

Lance relies on a trusty tool as he draws.
