It’s a common complaint in Louisville neighborhoods: ATVs and dirt bikes tearing through the streets.
Neighbors say the rides are loud, reckless, and sometimes dangerous. Now, Metro Council’s minority caucus says cracking down on them is part of its new public safety agenda.
In south Louisville, resident Raymond Shenck says he sees it all: kids ignoring traffic laws, adults following the rules, and stunt riders creating chaos.
“It scares me not only for them personally, but for the people around them,” Shenck said.
Neighbors report riders weaving through traffic, popping wheelies, and blowing through red lights.
