WICKSBURG, Ala. (WDHN)—Before the Wicksburg Panthers take the field on Friday, a special celebration will be held inside of Panther Stadium.

The back-to-back state champion Wicksburg softball team will finally receive their hardware as a part of a ring ceremony and celebration.

It has been a long time coming for these players, after they did what few programs could accomplish: winning two straight state titles after coming from behind and defeating the Saint James Trojans in a 4-3 stunner.

The ceremony will take place on Friday, September 19th at 6:35 P.M.
