BOISE, Idaho — Summer nights are quickly turning into crisp, fall evenings – prompting many Idahoans to start going to pumpkin patches and corn mazes.

For farmers across Idaho, the season means even more. Fall isn’t just about pumpkin spice lattes for them, but rather for educating the community about the hard work they put in all-year to grow the perfect pumpkin for families to take home.

“We want people to see agriculture in action in the state of Idaho, but even more locally, here in the Treasure Valley,” said Michael Siegersma.

Michael and his wife Jocelyn started Ten Mile Farm – and this year they are opening it up for fall festivities. They have a pumpkin patch and a corn maze in the shape of Idaho.
