Butler County Community College president Megan Coval said at a Sept. 17 board of trustees meeting the college received word from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education that it “met all standards and requirements” for reaccreditation this past June.
“That is tremendous news and a big announcement, that is a process that we have been going through as an institution over the past two to three years with so many people involved,” Coval said. “We had a sense when our visitors from the evaluation team came in March that we had passed, but they weren’t able to officially say it until over the summer.”
