PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Charlie Kirk’s assassination and the aftermath of his death are putting the topic of free speech at center stage.

While late-night host Jimmy Kimmel denounced the murder, his show was pulled off the air indefinitely for remarks he made about the shooting suspect . At the same time, people across the country are getting fired for comments they have made.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” said Kimmel during Monday night’s broadcast on ABC.
