The University of Cambridge has dropped out of The Times Good University Guide's top three for the first time ever. For the first time in the guide's 32-year history both the University of Cambridge and University of Oxford have dropped out of the top three and are joint fourth in the national rankings.

The University of Cambridge has been named the top university in East Anglia and as a runner-up for University of the Year in the Scholarships and Bursaries category. The University of Suffolk is the Runner-up of the Year for Student Experience and Runner-up of the Year for Teaching Quality 2026.
