A man who was 18 at the time he was molested by disgraced former Kiama MP Gareth Ward has told the district court about the devastating impact the incident had on his life.

The man had been at a party in February 2013, and following a dispute with this grilfriend contacted Ward, who organised for the intoxicated young man to travel to his Meroo Meadow home .

A court hearing into charges of indecent assault against the 18-year-old and sexual assault against a 24-year-old at Potts Point heard the younger man say he and Ward continued to drink, and he decided to play a prank on Ward by pretending to pass out on the grass in the yard .

Ward then put his hand douwn the man's pants, touching his buttocks and genitals.

He then helped the man to a bedroom, and mounted his back to give him
