RIVERSIDE — Koa Regalado will have bragging rights this holiday season.
Colton’s junior quarterback passed for 373 yards and six touchdowns in a 41-26 nonleague victory over his cousins and Arlington on Thursday night.
“I’ve been looking forward to playing them all season and we’re going to have some talks at the holidays now,” Regalado said. “I’m really excited to see them at Christmas because I’ll have a little present for them.”
Regalado completed 16 of 26 pass attempts and set new career-highs for passing yards and passing touchdowns as Colton (3-2 overall) compiled nearly 500 yards on offense.
“I want to say he broke the school single-game record for passing touchdowns but I’ll have to double-check that,” Colton coach Ray Rodriguez said. “He’s a stud. He does a great job.”
