AGAWAM – Despite going 12-0 during the regular season last fall, the Westfield High School girls volleyball team missed out on the 2024 west sectional title by just 0.775 points.

The good news for Westfield gymnastics fans is that head coach Christina Mobrice and the Bombers’ defending all-around champion Annika Van Oostveen is back. And the senior is already picking up where she left off.

Van Oostveen took home the high score (35.2) for the All-Around Wednesday at Agawam High School as Westfield opened the new season with a first-place finish.
