HOLYOKE – After falling to Chicopee Comp in the opening week, 43-8 and turning the ball over four times to boot, the Holyoke football team was looking for better results in its second game of the season against Northampton.
On Thursday night, luck was on the side of the Purple Knights. The hosts were able to get up early, hold onto the ball, and not turn it over once, as they defeated the Blue Devils 32-12 at John F. Gilligan Field.
